Local Solicitors The Head Partnership have been advising David Gower, former England Cricket Captain, in his role as Chairman of the New Commonwealth Consortium and the plans for the redevelopment of the Nursery Ground in March and the ownership of the disused railway tunnels beneath the surface.
The project and Gower’s role was well documented with national press last week after the consortium acquired the rights from Rifkind Associates and held its press conference.
The consortium will offer the public the opportunity to purchase shares from £500 each and invest with the project to resurrect and promote the redevelopment of the Nursery Ground.
Malcolm Head speaking on the subject said:
“The hope is that the influence of David Gower and Keith Bradshaw (ex secretary of Chief Executive of the MCC) as well as the business acumen of the Consortium and the support of the likes of Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd and Alan Lamb will persuade Lord and MCC members to pursue this development opportunity which has huge potential.”
The Head Partnership have advised David Gower for many years and have welcomed the opportunity to be involved in this project.
