In a gesture towards minimising our carbon footprint, and in support of the communities where we live and work, we have planted a tree for every member of our staff in local woodland, hopefully helping nature thrive long into the future.

The hazel trees have been planted at Greencombe Coppice. Greencombe Coppice is being transformed from a 3/4 acre area of grassland to create a woodland corridor connecting a small, isolated copse to the major woodland of the Hardwick Estate in the South Oxfordshire/Berkshire borders. The new wooded area will be managed by The Stick Smith as a coppice and will provide a base for coppice craft courses for the wider public. The new trees will help improve its biodiversity and provide shelter for wildlife.
