ELIZABETH MOFFITT TEP

Solicitor – Wills, Trusts & Estate Administration
Elizabeth is a solicitor and Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
She specialises in Wills, estate tax planning, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estate administration including intestate estates, Deeds of Variation to Wills, Discretionary and Pilot Trusts, and has expertise with Court of Protection applications for deputyships both in property and financial affairs and health and welfare decisions. She also advises unmarried couples on Declarations of Trust/ Living Together Agreements.

Elizabeth initially qualified as a solicitor in family law, and then became a well-respected solicitor specialising in property matters. She brings a wealth of knowledge from these two areas of law to her work as a Wills, Trusts and Estate solicitor. Elizabeth really enjoys meeting her clients, listening to their life stories, navigating any difficult family issues to provide a practical solution that is easily understood by her clients.

She is a Dementia Friend, the Alzheimer’s Society scheme to raise awareness of the challenges faced by families living with dementia. As a student, Elizabeth worked in a psychiatric hospital as a care assistant caring for patients with dementia, and extensive mental health issues and later in a general hospital in the cardiac unit.

Before qualifying as a solicitor Elizabeth completed an Art Foundation Course at Chelsea School of Art in London. She then went on to study law at Buckingham University, a Masters in law at Bristol University and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Huddersfield University.

Elizabeth has travelled extensively around the world with her backpack enjoying many adventures along the way. Outside of work Elizabeth is actively involved with supporting the charity Parents and Children Together. She loves cooking and entertaining and is a big fan of Rick Stein.
