Are you an experienced Residential Property Solicitor/CILEX/licensed conveyancer looking to take your career to the next level by getting involved more in team management? If so, THP Solicitors would love to hear from you.

The Role

Location: Lower Earley, Reading base with some remote working
Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced conveyancer to join our busy Residential Property team, one of the largest in the Thames Valley. In this role, you will act as principal fee earner for all transactions allocated to you, advising clients on a broad spectrum of residential property matters. You will also use your people management skills to help supervise and support our team’s solicitors, legal executives and support staff.

The role includes:

  • Supporting the Head of Residential Property with the management of the conveyancing team
  • Managing own conveyancing cases from initial instruction to completion
  • Helping foster good relationships with clients and local estate agents

Requirements

  • A qualified solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer with 5+ years PQE residential property experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in handling a wide range of conveyancing matters
  • Enjoys working as part of a team, helping and supporting others
  • Happy to take ownership and responsibility for issues
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable with a can-do attitude
  • Outstanding client care skills and a strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to help support the continued growth and success of the conveyancing team

This role is based at our Lower Earley office and remote working utilising our cloud-based platform is possible. Some travel between our Reading and Henley offices may be required on occasion. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
