What type of commercial property clients do you advise?
It is a mix, but mainly SME/family-owned businesses looking to buy/ sell, or lease property, and I do a lot of work with developers. That covers a wide range of property types, including office, retail, out-of-town developments, and warehousing/industrial. I also advise lenders on commercial development secured lending.
What do you think is key to maintaining lasting relationships with your clients?
Get to know your clients (and them you), understand their concerns and goals, and what makes them tick. You can find out an awful lot about a client over a drink, which can be really helpful in a work context. It helps that in our firm our size, our clients are ‘humans’, not just client numbers, and we get to develop meaningful business relationships with them.
First CD you ever bought?
I’ll be honest – The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers Soundtrack (single CD). As a 5-year-old, I was their biggest fan.
