Recent Work highlights

  • Advising a commercial business in respect of defamatory comments on review websites and successfully achieving their removal.
  • Advising an Executor to an Estate on the process of revoking the Grant and protect the Estate from an Inheritance Act claim.
  • Representing a client and facilitating mediation in respect of contested Will Trust of which the estate net value was 2.5 million.
  • Drafting court proceedings, obtaining judgment and enforcing a debt recovery claim.
  • Providing assistance and ongoing advice in respect of a Forex and Bullion Trading dispute.
  • Acting for a client in contesting a Lands Tribunal Application.
  • Resolving a long-standing neighbour dispute.

Laura completed her Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin in 2011. Prior to this, she also studied at University of East Anglia and attained a degree in Law.

Prior to becoming a Solicitor Laura was a national competitive swimmer – she was nominated as a Queen’s Baton Relay holder for the Commonwealth Games and came second to Olympic Gold medallist Rebecca Adlington at a national swimming event. Hours of hard work and dedication was given to the sport, and taught Laura to plan, persevere, focus and be an active team player. These important skills have transferred with Laura and are applied to her legal career.
